Villa Uana

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Uana! The house is beautiful and was a perfect layout for our group (3 families with young toddlers and babies). The pre-trip communication was seamless and Elsa was very helpful in planning our activities. Our house mom, Diana, was lovely and made it feel like a real vacation. I would absolutely book this house or with Stay at Tamarindo again.

Where do I began! Elsa was great from the start. She took care of all of the accommodations needed for our trip, stopped by the house to check in with us during our stay and was tentative to all of our needs. The house was perfect and amazing. It was a great layout for adults, teens and kiddos to have family and alone time while keeping the vacation time going. HOWEVER, DIANA, THE HOUSE MOM, WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! She was completely underrated in the details of the house. From the second we walked in the door she was there to take care fo anything we needed. She made the best fresh orange juice by hand! She made breakfast every day and cleaned up. She was sweet, funny and very polite without ever getting in the way of the vacation time. I wish every vacation had Diana, she is the BEST! If you are looking for a vacation rental house and service, you have found the right place!

The place was beautiful and spacious. Dianna was the best she took great care of us and kept the place spotless throughout the stay. She was an incredible cook and person. The beach club was first class and had breath taking sunsets!

Villa Uana saved our family/friend trip after we were cancelled on two weeks before departure on Airbnb. We were blessed to find this beautiful stay in such short notice and closer to Tamarindo than our first choice in coco. The house is large, bright, and stacked with everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for couples and families, the kitchen is well equipped and great for entertaining, the back patio is an open and airy space for lots of pool fun and dining together. Our house mom Diana and concierge Elsa definitely made our trip smooth and memorable with their dedication to our experience. We will be back to the lovely casa uana!

The house was beautiful. Large bedrooms and a fabulous area outside with a great firepit. The Housemother Diana was so nice and Elsa the Concierge was always available to plan adventures for us and take care of all our needs. A must place to stay. We will be back

This home is beautiful and Dianna keeps it sparkling clean! I really enjoyed the breakfast and snacks she cooked for us. Elsa can help you arrange everything from dinner, flight transfers, car rentals and excursions. I highly recommend the day spa experience she can book for you. The beach club is nice but the beach is slightly rocky. Overall, the home is perfect if you are looking for a large property to accommodate all of your friends or family. Restaurants are about 25-30 minutes away in Tamarindo and there are a few close by. I recommend Il Rustico in Playa Avellanas, about a 10 minute drive from this house.

Elsa and Mariam took great care of our group. Lots of advance communications and directions. Elsa booked 5 days of activities for 12 people. Loved working with he drivers and tour guides of Shuttle Express. Villa Uana is very well appointed and the house "mom" Diana could not have been better.

This property has everything you need to have a wonderful tropical getaway in Costa Rica. The outdoor space had everything we needed and more, with enough pool space for the kids to enjoy, and perfect outdoor living set ups to eat our meals al fresco and relax with a book by the pool. Our house mom was wonderful and cooked delicious food for us and kept everything tidy. We had plenty of towels for the pool and the local beaches. We enjoyed the golf, horseback riding and beaches within Hacienda Pinilla, and loved the local sites of Tamarindo. Highly recommend this property and location for couples or families.

We truly enjoyed the entire vibe of the home and everyone had their own room and bathrooms. The house is located approximately 30 min from Tamarindo and you will need to plan accordingly, if you plan to be in the town often. The house mom, Diana, was PHENOMENAL. We all truly enjoyed the effort she put into making the vacation a dream.

This was my favorite vacation ever. I was nervous to do an airbnb in another country, but this home was perfect! Spacious, but not too big. Many bedrooms and bathrooms to go around. The house mom and concierge are extremely helpful and the pool was fantastic. Absolutely 5/5 stars.

What a beautiful home to spend a birthday vacation with friends. This house definitely matched the photos of the listing. Deana, the house mom, was amazing. She went above and beyond; always helpful with a smile on her face. Our large group took full advantage of all the amenities offered. Elsa was very prompt to respond to any issue or questions about the house. The house is located 30 mins outside of Tamarindo so you most definitely need some form of arranged transportation. I highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again next time I come to Costa Rica. Pura Vida :)

Elsa (our concierge) helped us with every element of our trip including transportation, activities, local food recommendations, pre-stocking of groceries and even scheduling our Covid tests. We had a group of 13 friends and the home was spacious and comfortable for all. We spent almost all of our time enjoying the beautiful backyard. Everything was spotless and comes with all the necessities you would want. The location is tucked away in a quiet and very safe community. Just close enough to Tamarindo to enjoy a night out for dinner but far enough away that it feels like a retreat of its own. The neighborhood grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Diana (the house mom) was so sweet and helped with everything around the house including dishes, laundry, tidying up the home and meals. Each morning she prepared a breakfast spread outside for us including coffee, juices, fruit and our preferences for the day. Our favorite meal being a local favorite that she recommended. This took all the stress out of the trip and provided the relaxation of booking a hotel. This home was a 10/10 and I would recommended it to anyone visiting the area!

I am giving an Excellent rating because our Concierge and House Mom were the BEST EVER! Our stay wouldn't have been as easy, comforting or enjoyable without them. We had a couple hiccups, and Elsa stepped right in to assist. I would highly recommend her as your concierge and Diana is the kindest and most patient house mom. We miss her! Villa Uana is a beautiful home, clean and very inviting. We enjoyed our stay and hospitality of the Costa Rican life style.

We were there two families over Easter and we had a wonderful stay. The villa is so nice and the outdoor area where we spent most of our time was to die for. The details like having a fridge and ice machine outside was the best. The villa manager always available to cater to all our needs, guide us and give information. Last but certainly not least the house mom was the best, she made great breakfast, lunch, snacks and cocktails. She also kept everything spotless so there was nothing for us to do but enjoy. Thanks so much and we hope to see you again in the future.

From the day I booked the house, Elsa helped with everything we needed. We had it all tee’d up perfect. From tee times, to a private chef, horseback riding and transportation to dinners… Elsa arranged it all and everything flowed seamless. The house was as advertised and having Dixie cook breakfast every morning and handle our laundry needs was the perfect touch for our vacation away from our busy lives. Highly recommend this house.

8 of us stayed in a 6 bedroom house. Everything was more than we expected. The housekeeper as well as Elsa the house manager took care of any need we had. We will be back and can’t wait to stay again

Elsa was incredible and so was Danelia our housekeeper! The place was incredible and Elsa helped us arrange tours and activities before our visit, the communication was excellent and took amazing care of us. The house is great, fully equipped, has plenty of space for two families, and a nice stop to enjoy quiet and relax. Thank you!

The house was exactly as advertised. The interior was well maintained, rooms spacious and bathrooms and kitchen very clean. House was spacious enough for three families of 2 adults and 2 kids each - enough room for at least 12 people. Parents had their own rooms and the 6 kids shared three bedrooms. Bathrooms functioned well. Outdoor living space was great - gas fireplace and huge dining table. Elsa, the concierge, was excellent. Very responsive and professional. She lined us up with chefs, excursions, dining, etc. She was absolutely wonderful. Great trip.

La casa es muy bonita y el servicio de Elsa y Danelia impecable. En general la casa está bien equipada y tiene muchos espacios para competir. Pasamos unos días muy felices en familia y disfrutamos de la casa! Se la recomiendo a quien quiera visitar Pinilla.
