Beautiful property in a wonderful location. Convenience to Tamarindo a big plus. Liked the security the development, El Tesoro. Management company was responsive and helpful.

The layout of this home was great for our 6-person family group. The 3 en suite bedrooms directly off the pool deck and a large upstairs bedroom with separate terrace are spacious and well laid out (we didn't use the 5th “no view” bedroom). We loved the breakfasts prepared by Daniela and appreciated the mid-week cleaning. As other reviewers note, the home is located at the top of a very steep hill - several family members did walk down to the beach and into town a few times during our stay; the walk down is easy and pleasant and the walk up is a good way to work off the big breakfast. We had a rental car and it's definitely tricky to turn around in the driveway (also, parking in town is its own challenge). Still, we were glad to have a car for quick runs to the nearby Auto Mercado and for day trips. Overall, the home and pool are well maintained and well managed and the team at Stay in Tamarindo is responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely work with them again.

Beautiful setting and house in Costa Rica. Very secure neighborhood with walking access to Tamarindo and beach. Great house for several couples or a family get together. Outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, watching the sunset or watching the beach from the infinity pool.

We were 5 friends staying in this beautiful home, beautiful as advertised. This company (especially Adriana) is great to work with. She responded promptly, even on a sunday when our fridge stopped working….and had a replacement there by the end of the day. Impressive! You can definitely walk to the beach but you would think twice about ‘running back because I forgot something’. We LOVED the hills to the house for morning hikes/work outs but did comment that young children, elderly and people who aren’t fit would need a car. The infinity pool is simply the perfect place from which to watch the sunset. CR sunsets are stunning! We were there in Feb/23…definitely very hot in the afternoons (need sandals to walk in the hot beach sand) …..again, a good time to float in the pool! 4 of the 5 bedrooms face the pool with ensuite and deck. The house is fully air conditioned. No bugs. We hired a yoga teacher (Johanna) for 3 mornings, a chef for one night and we had the staff make breakfast one morning. Cris, the concierge, will help with anything you need. We ate all other dinners in beach side restaurants (no need for reservations). Check out The Red Door restaurant, beach side, near the entrance to the subdivision. Delicious food and cocktails! Our 4th time to Tamarindo and we will be back. Thank you Stay in Tamarindo for taking such good care of us. Pura Vida!

The home itself surprised on the upside from the way it was represented on VRBO - amazing views (including from 4 of the 5 bedrooms) with everything in good working order. The home is in close proximity to the beach and some of the shops and restaurants in Tamarindo. Although it is technically within walking distance, it is worth noting the walk entails a steep incline to get up to the elevation where the home is situated and may be a challenge for those not in the best of conditioning (especially after a few glasses of wine at dinner).

We loved this house! The view was incredible, we loved having UTVs to go into town and the location was wonderful. The house is better than the pictures show. We loved opening the windows to the pool and outdoor sitting areas and looking at the waves. We will be back!!!

We booked a last minute trip to Tamarindo to escape the winter cold and lockdown with our three kids. The house was perfect - we woke up with a morning swim followed bya fantastic breakfast prepared by the kind staff. Views were absolutely amazing, especially at sunset. Great house, convenient location.

Our group of 9 friends stayed at Casa Ventana and had an amazing time. The breakfast was amazing, the views unreal, and the layout of the house was perfect for a Costa Rican trip. As many of the other reviews warn, the hill getting up to the house is pretty steep. We tried to rent a golf cart (not through the concierge) and all of the places said the battery would likely burnout. We ended up splurging for the Polaris (dune buggy) but could have done fine with calling a taxi / Uber each time we wanted to go to the beach. The Polaris did offer plenty of freedom for when we wanted to leave.

Casa Ventana was absolutely perfect! The house is in a great location near the beach, shops, and restaurants, but you still have your privacy as well. The views are unbelievable! The most AMAZING sunsets ever!! It was very clean and was stocked with everything you could need. The entire staff was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end of our vacation, and the breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend booking Casa Ventana for your stay in Costa Rica. We will definitely be back!!

Casa Ventanas is beautiful, it has an amazing view of ocean and the sunsets are from another world :). Service was excellent and all in the house was working properly and as expected.

This was our second trip to Casa Ventana and it was even better than the last time! This house is meticulously thought out. The kitchen is stocked with all the gear you need for a large group to prepare meals. The layout of the house affords a lot of privacy and comfort while also having plenty of space to hang out and socialize. The views are STUNNING. I could watch the sunset every day for the rest of my life from that infinity pool and be completely happy. It's so close to the grocery store for quick food/alcohol runs and steps from the town. Our favourite walk every day was to walk from the house down the beach and then back through town. We have actually sworn off staying at any other rental house when we travel because Casa Ventana set the bar so high that we can't accept anything less. Highly recommend this house, you won't regret it! We'll be back! -- Gabe G

We did a girl's weekend with 9 women and stayed at Casa Ventana. Could not have asked for better accommodations, service, and THE VIEW. Breathtaking sunsets every night enjoyed in the ininity pool. Such a special place!

2 families with 10 people. The house and location couldn't have been more perfect. The home is in an ideal neighborhood with a stunning view. Golf carts are a must to zip in and out of town. Cris and her team were quick to respond to questions. The excursions were great and Gustavo was a terrific guide and driver.

The house was wonderful! We enjoyed how well the house was placed on the hillside, we had a gorgeous vista of the ocean. The staff was very accommodating when we brought up a concern. We loved the breakfast that was included so much that we decided to have someone cook our dinners a few nights. The home is comfortable and tastefully decorated. All five couples loved being there and their own bath. Thanks Vacation Tamarindo!

Beautiful house. Loved the spacious rooms with the en-suite bathrooms. We went for a bachelorette party with 9 girls and had an amazing time. The breakfast was very good and we booked activities and the chef through the concierge services which were great. Definitely recommend staying here. Be sure to rent a gold cart for driving up the hills. Location excellent, plenty of towels and very clean!
