Casa Calico

We stayed for 10 days at Casa Calico. With 3 couples, this home was perfect for us with room to spare that included a guest house we didn't even use. We arranged everything from shuttles to and from the airport, tours, golf cart rental, and food delivery through Cris who was incredibly helpful and responsive. We can't say enough about the Stay in Tamarindo staff, the housekeeping, drivers, pool maintenance, tour staff and crew. Special shout out to Cris, Adriana, Geovanny, Captain and crew of the Lazy Lizard catamaran, and tour guide Raphael. The location of this home was perfect and the 6 passenger golf cart we rented allowed us to explore the town of Tamarindo. It was a vacation to remember, we will miss the sunsets on the beach, pura vida!!!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we could have not picked a better place for our 10 night stay ?.This place was amazing. Location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I would return and highly recommend this house. Very clean, had everything we needed and we felt very safe. Pura. Vida

My family and I had the vacation of a lifetime thanks to all the staff at Stay at Tamarindo. Adriana was excellent! She was available at all times during our stay and was so quick to answer any questions. The lock on our gate was loose and it was fixed within hours of notification! Cris was our concierge and she was fabulous!! She was so efficient and so approachable. She helped us set up transport shuttles, car rental and all our tours. She was available to us before our trip and all the time we were there. The staff was incredible. I would absolutely use Stay at Tamarindo again in my future vacations. Please keep up your excellent service!!

We spent five nights at Casa calico In Tamarindo which was beautiful, clean, had all the amenities (including a swimming pool) ever needed and Cris was amazing as our concierge setting up fun day trips and even dinner reservations. She even found a doctor for us when it was needed one day and she was extremely speedy about that! Cris sent us our list of options for activities and excursions months ahead of time so we had plenty of time to think about things. ATVs, massages, catamarans and more. I highly recommend the lazy lizard catamaran which was our highlight! Adriana Who took our reservation will check up on us periodically throughout the process. We had no doubt even before we arrived that everything was going to be smooth and it was very smooth! I highly recommend using “stay in Tamarindo”/Cris and Adriana and I highly recommend Casa calico!!

Me and my family spent a weekend here. Besides it being absolutely beautiful, it is super clean and a very stylish house. It is only 100 meters from the beach and different stores, restaurants and handmade crafts. The hosts were not only friendly but also interested in us having an amazing stay. Will definitely return!

I loved staying here. Location is perfect. Only a couple of minutes walk to Main Street Tamarindo. I loved the pool. Hosts were very nice and caring. Highly recommend. I look forward to coming back.

We had a marvelous time at this villa!!! With all the equipment of a modern house has and yet with beautiful colonial details in its decoration will make you feel literally in paradise, mostly if you sit in one of its terraces, just in front of the pool. We only had to walk 3 minutes to go the beach. Which we didn't use the car at all, it is almost on the main street with great restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets. Great hosts. Can't wait to go back!
