Traveling with 4 teens- I was a bit nervous. We spent the week exploring Costa Rica and felt safe the entire time. Stay in Tamarindo was beyond expectations —-each excursion was private. The guides taught us so much and truly love their jobs. We had Eddy and Gustavo. They made each trip extra special and enjoyable. The house was amazing and clean, organized, and beautiful. One visit and we want to move to Costa Rica. Pura Vida.

Our vacation here was amazing. Elsa the concierge helped us manage our excursions and book our transportation. It was a little far from Tamarindo where there is a lot going on, but between the Marriott and the Hacienda Pinilla beach club, there was plenty to do. Hope to return again!

Would return. Well appointed and felt safe. Loved the outdoor quiet seating. Elsa was helpful and responsive. 2 families of 9 fit well. Had towels and lots of kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.

This home and Elsa were amazing! Our only qualms are the internet speed wasn't the best one of the day of our stay but there was a storm in the area so we enjoyed the calm of the rainy season, other than that I loved the home. Elsa was the most responsive, helpful and accommodating host. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Plenty of space for a large family and assistance throughout the way in booking what you need. The pool outside is refreshing for those warm days and the kids will love seeing the monkeys climbing on the trees. The villa was perfect for our guests and everyone enjoyed the private chef the concierge Elsa helped us coordinate. Thank you again for helping facilitate such a great time for us, I’d highly recommend staying here!

House was great. Property is on a private cul-de-sac. Hacienda Pinilla is a big community so I would recommend renting a golf cart to take advantage of all the community amenities. We did this directly through the property concierge. Concierge was amazing who arranged private chef, fishing charter, golf cart, etc. Easy Peasy!

Boy oh boy where do I begin? Everything was excellent! Elsa and Mariam were great and kept good communication. The house was everything I imagined it to be. This house is a MUST BOOK! It’s a bit rocky getting there I would suggest you rent a truck but other than that no complaints.

Literally every need was met, and anything we asked for was fulfilled. We had a private chef cater to us, as well as a private excusión experience, all coordinated through Elsa and Miriam. I can’t say enough wonderful things!

Elsa was extremely patient and professional with ensuring our group was receiving all sort of services; from lodging all the way to itinerary assistance and even connecting us to a private chef, day tour activities, etc! Upon arrival, we were greeted by her and given a tour of the incredibly beautiful and clean home. This home is located in a gated community with access to the JW Marriott, which we were able to take advantage of for the Spa and beach. Every morning we were woken up by the beautiful sounds of the birds and monkeys! 5 days in this location were just not enough and I would definitely find my way back!!

We just loved staying here! If you are looking for a house that the family can spread out, enjoy the pool and be within minutes of the beach, this is the house for you! We enjoyed all of the amenities that the house and community had to offer. By far one of our favorite parts of the stay was the late afternoon monkey visits in our own backyard!! From booking to the concierge services provided by Elsa, this trip was by far a family favorite. We received amazing service and support from Elsa! She set us up with the best experiences and all of her restaurant recommendations were spot on!! We will definitely be back!!

We stayed for 2 weeks with friends and family. Hacienda Pinilla is a great location - close to the shops, restaurants and activities in Tamarindo - yet secluded and very quiet, safe and secure. We enjoyed the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club, the JW Marriott amenities, and the miles of walking and biking trails within the development. We did venture out for activities and dining. Highly recommend the restaurants in nearby Playa Avallenas and Playa Negra including Lola's, Villa Deveena, and Kon Tiki. Also, the new "restaurant park" on the way to Lola's is an uber cool setting

This was my first visit to Costa Rica, and I’m so happy I chose Hacienda Pinillas. The home was beautiful. The concierge, Mariam, and her team were the best and made sure my guests and I were well taken care of. It was my birthday celebration, and Mariam connected me with a chef who prepared brunch and a beautiful birthday dinner with excellent service. We had a minor emergency, and Mariam and her team didn’t miss a beat making sure my guest received proper medical care and arrived safely back at the house. I highly recommend for anyone planning to visit Tamarindo, and I’ll be back time and time again! We had the time of our lives!

Casa Los Monos was a wonderful place to stay. The house is very new, very well furnished and supplied, and it's situated against a backdrop of trees and we regularly saw a wide range of wildlife. We visited with family, including three little ones and the layout and pool were perfect for them. Mariam, Elsa, and the rest of the team were terrific - very professional and thoughtful throughout our stay. They greeted us at arrival and showed us through the house. They were very accommodating with requests for early / late checkout. They were proactive in communicating and helping us to quickly resolve an unexpected issue with the pool. We would highly recommend a visit here - we'll be back!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over the last weekend to check out the house since we are going to rent it for a period of almost 7 months in 2020. The house was just as pictured and looked like it's never been used! We really enjoyed the backyard with lush, mature trees surrounding the pool and the fact that each bedroom is equipped with en suite with a pretty courtyard - awesome for a larger family or couples' trip. Restaurants such as Lola's and Bamboo Sushi Club were great too! We also could not get over how nice everyone was in CR everywhere we went! Same goes for Kate, Adriana, and Cris at the management company who are always super friendly and accommodating! Needless to say, we are very excited to come back next year and enjoy our long stay.

I stayed with my family over a long weekend. We were a party of 6 adults plus 2 kids, the house has such a good distribution that you couldn't even tell that 8 people were staying there, however the social area was very welcoming and we had a great time by the pool and the outdoor grill. Perfect vacation home for a big family, will certainly stay here again.

We stayed there for 5 nights and it was amazing! Everything was spotless, concierge was soo helpful. You definitely need a golf cart to get around. The beach house pool/ restaurant was so relaxing and surprisingly affordable. Was so wonderful!

Excelente experiencia en Casa de los Monos, la casa es preciosa, cómoda, con todo lo necesario para una familia grande y la limpieza perfecta. El área de la piscina es amplia e ideal para pasar hermosos tiempos en familia rodeados de mucha vegetación. Las playas están cerca así como supermercados y restaurantes, el beach club es una muy buena opción si se quiere pasar el día en algún lugar cercano. Tuvimos una estadía maravillosa, gracias.
