Casa Kenkai

House worked out great for 7 of us. It was beautiful and an easy drive to the beach club, golf club house, stables, and JW Marriott.

Casa Kenkai is your best option to go and enjoy Hacienda Pinilla and the North Pacific of Costa Rica. It's just perfect! It is cozy, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and what I liked the most is that they installed new and better furniture! It is our favorite when we visit with my family. We love having breakfast and taking advantage of the outside area. We really like that the social area is integrated but at the same time the rooms have a lot of privacy. Perfect to go with friends or family. What we like the most is the view of the golf course. We see different animals such as deer but simply the green view is fascinating.

My family had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Kenkai. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed including lots of pots, towels and a great espresso machine. There was also a lovely outdoor shower in the main bedroom (in addition to the regular shower). My boys (6 and 9) loved spending time in the beautiful pool (which was cleaned and maintained during our stay), The location was also great-there are so many restaurants to choose from and lovely beaches to visit. Elsa was incredibly helpful and responsive. Before the trip, she helped plan transportation for our arrival. She also recommended activities and made reservations for us based on the best things to do for kids. She suggested restaurants and was super responsive if we had questions. We felt very at home and well-take care of. It was a fantastic trip! We would definitely choose to stay at Casa Kenkai again.

We loved staying at Casa Kenkai! The whole Stay in Tamarindo team was amazing to work with. They helped us organize tour, transportations, and everything we might’ve needed. The location is a bit of a drive from the Tamarindo area but you have everything you need in Hacienda Pinilla. 100% recommend getting golf carts to be able to move around the area since the distances are pretty far to walk

My family spent the last week at casa Kenkai. Its was amazing. We have stayed at Hacienda Pinilla before and as always they are on top it! Elsa our concierge helped us plan out a number of excursions and events. The house was perfect for our family of 5 (each kid got a bedroom- they did rock, scissors, paper, to see who got the one with the solo bathroom). Great open layout to hang out and have dinner. We used the private chef services to make us dinner 4 times. Washer and dryer was convenient. The pool was great. Always warm due to the weather. Honestly nothing was really wrong with the house. Ice maker didn't work perfect but they came and fixed. You could hear the howler monkeys every morning and we saw deer on the course course from the backyard. Tons of birds too. Definitely need a golf cart or car though. We will be back sometime next year.....

Just returned from our stay at Casa Kenkai and can’t wait to return! We were traveling with 3 kids ages 10-13 and 3 adults. Elsa made the trip easy - from preparing for our visit, arrival and our stay - it was so easy and wonderful! The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable.

My family and I loved our stay at Casa Kenkai while visiting Costa Rica. The house is beautiful and was well equipped with everything we needed. We were traveling with 3 kids and they loved the pool and we all enjoyed the relaxing outdoor seating and dining area. Elsa made our trip easy from communication before we arrived to helping us plan a snorkeling outing. Woild highly recommend a stay here! We can’t wait to return

What a wonderful week! Casa Kenkai in Reservation De Golf of Hacienda Pinilla was amazing! Started week with an in home chef upon our arrival. Elsa assisted our group with several excursions and restaraunt selections. I've been to Hacienda Pinilla 8 times now - it never disappoints !!! Most highly recommend whether with family/children or friends, it is a great experience.

When I first booked it was great communication between the host and I. Before I traveled the host was able to provide everything I needed upon arrival. My friends and I enjoyed every part of the home. The home was clean, nice, spacious, and had everything we needed. I can’t thank the host enough for providing everything before and during our stay. When traveling internationally this makes everything so much BETTER. I would recommend to anyone and stay again in the future!!!

Adoramos o período que passamos em Hacienda Pinilla, Reserva de Golf. A casa é super bem localizada e está de acordo com as fotos. Tem uma vista maravilhosa para o campo de golf. Os quartos são bons, o espaço é confortável. A área externa também é muito gostosa. Recomendo esta estadia e voltaria com certeza para lá! Nossas férias na Costa Rica foram maravilhosas!! PURA VIDA!!!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful villa in the Hacienda Pinilla resort. The home was modern, clean with large open spaces and sliding doors opening to a beautiful pool area. Great home to stay in during the pandemic in case members of the party need to isolate; and the large windows and doors allow for ample air movement. All four rooms are private, well sized and comfortable. The pool was wonderful and we all thoroughly enjoyed daily swims. Kitchen is well appointed; generous laundry room. We could hear howler monkeys and beautiful bird song throughout the day. We never felt unsafe ( we were alarmed by some reviews on other VRBO stand-alone properties mentioning night time burglaries, which is why we selected this particular property.) Security is excellent. Tamarindo has wonderful restaurants; we particularly enjoyed Dragonfly and Green Papaya, but the home and kitchen is so lovely that we spent several days just enjoying the home and resort. Car recommended. Buy the local mosquito repellant; according to the experienced local guides, the local repellant is much more effective. Highly recommend! Thanks for the great memories!

What a trip!! Just returned from our 5 days at Casa Kenkai. We had 2 couples here, each in their own en-suite, with enough room to be together and have room to spread out. The house was beautiful, with everything we needed and more. The outdoor pool area with fans kept us cool while we ate meals outside together. The grill was great to have for lunchtime while we hung out in the pool. I can’t speak highly enough about the crew we were lucky to have host us in Costa Rica. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Kenkai. The house was beautiful, clean and exactly as described. Kitchen was well appointed, all appliances in good working condition. Internet was fast and reliable. Ample space for two families to have privacy. Cleaner and pool maintenance person were efficient and thorough. Our concierge/guest manager, Elsa Verges, was extremely helpful and available for any questions we had. She provided helpful information on day trips, road hazards etc. We felt safe, and were able to enjoy the larger Hacienda Pinilla resort as well as the surrounding Tamarindo area without any issues. We would highly recommend this home and hope to return soon!

Highly recommend if you love to golf and want to feel safe in a secure restricted resort this is a great stay for it! Check in and out was extremely easy, affordable, access to the jw Marriott that has beach access, at the time of purchase the rep sent a list of activities we can purchase that had pick up service. Only con is the drive to the entrance it’s pretty rough, that’s it. The house was like a resort! It was beautiful, clean, appliances easy to use, spacious! 10/10 highly recommend. Elsa was soooooo helpful, and responsive!

We loved our stay at Casa Kenkai in Hacienda Pinilla. The house was lovely, clean and in good working order - it comfortably met the needs of our group - very peaceful and private. Elsa, the concierge was super helpful both prior to and during our visit, arranging day trips, dinner reservations, covid tests, etc. Hacienda Pinilla has so much to offer - gorgeous beaches, tennis/pickleball, horseback riding, biking, golf, beach club..... Overall, it was a great time and just what we all needed.

Very comfortable, everything you need is there! You will enjoy the quiet surroundings with the golf course right behind the house so no noisy neighbors! You can access Playa Avellanas directly from the compound with a short car ride following directions for Club the playa. A must! Thanks again! Johanne and all

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Kenkai. The House was impecable and so was the service with Stay in Tamarindo. The house is very spacious and the pool is stunning! With direct view to the golf course is the perfect spot to relax at night or when you get tired of the beach. Hacienda Pinilla is my favorite place in Guanacaste, is beautiful, clean, and you can have golf, surf, jugging, trail running, mountain bike and several different beaches just in one plase. Looking forward to visiting again soon! Thanks!

Brand new house, beautiful view to the golf course, good swimming pool, easy access to three beaches in Hacienda Pinilla. The house has all the amenities one needs for a couple of days, and sufficient beds for up to 8 people (we were just 4, so more than plenty of room). Only one TV (ok, who needs one, you're here on holiday). Parking in the garage for up to 2 vehicles). Communication with Elsa (agent) was excellent.
