Our concierge, Elsa, and her team really helped us make our vacation. Amazing by facilitating, organizing, and recommending activities that were appropriate for our group. It was so great to have someone knowledgeable on the ground to help us navigate the logistics of accessing fun things to do!

This was a beautiful stay with great accommodations and amenities! We were a group of 11 visiting to celebrate my 25th Birthday and we all had such an amazing time. The chef made the best food and Eugene the owner was always available to answer any questions. We also were able to participate in some great activities thanks to the amazing staff at stay in tamarindo. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our family vacation of 15 adults and 11 children at Villa Tranquila so so much! The villa itself is set up perfectly for families to enjoy the beautiful weather with plenty of shade to get the kids out of the sun. We rented 3 golf carts to take us to the Beach Club which is beautiful and is steps to the Pacific Ocean. We'd also go to the private beach for the sunsets and loved the space for the kids to run around and explore. Between the chef, the Villa, the beach club and the private beach, not to mention the Marriott where we would ride over to get ice cream, we all agreed it was the best family vacation so far!

Wow! We just returned home from a magical week at Villa Tranquila in Hacienda Pinilla. I hosted a group of 18 for a yoga/pickleball/adventure/relaxation retreat. From the very start of the booking process to the departure flight out, we received top notch concierge and hospitality service from the Stay in Tamarindo staff. Elsa and Mariam answered every question (we had a lot of them!) ahead of and during our stay in a timely, courteous, and helpful manner. Eugene and Saray were incredibly friendly and helpful hosts at Villa Tranquila, checking in daily and supplementing the amenities with everything we needed. Chef Didier prepared fresh, delicious meals for us according to our menu requests and expertly catered to varying dietary restrictions among our guests. The meals were delicious and plentiful. All in all, our week at Villa Tranquila exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful for the luxurious week there.

We absolutely loved this property. The ensuite rooms give you the privacy you need if you want to go off and be by yourself. The kitchen area and the back are great for communing with everyone. Eugene and his wife were always available to us by phone. We really appreciated all that they did for us and they are extremely accommodating of our needs. One of the best things was our cook, Didiair!!! He was magnificent. We could not have gotten better service or food anywhere else, and the daily cost was definitely good for all the food that he served us. Thank you and we hope to see you again one day soon!!

Went here with a group of 19 people for a bachelorette and I’m so glad we picked this place. From the moment we booked the house, Elsa has been such a helpful resource. She’s very knowledgeable, friendly, and answers quickly. Planning every part of the trip for a big group went so smooth with her help! The hosts, Eugene and Sari, were very welcoming and accommodating in this big beautiful home. They were available whenever we had a question, gave their recommendations, and even helped us out when we needed some groceries. Every meal that the chef made was so delicious, we really didn’t have to go out to town for good food! He was a pleasure to have around during our stay and also considerate of any special requests we had such as a very early breakfast or vegetarian options. Thank you all so much for making this trip memorable!

Fantastic home for our group of 16. The managers were helpful and available whenever needed.. The layout was well thought out and the back patio with pool was a great place for entertaining. Our cook Didier was fantastic. Fresh fruit and salsa was available at all times. I highly recommend this place for large gatherings.

This is a well laid out house that provides great space for entertaining but still being able to retreat to your own private suite. Our party of 15 had an amazing time at this home. Our cook Didier was fantastic and the house managers Eugene and Sary were available and helpful when needed. I highly recommend this house for large gatherings. The outdoor area and pool are perfect. They truly thought of everything.

That house was just perfect for our 5 families!! The chef Didier was very kind and his meals were amazing ! The sitting area outside was the perfect place to hangout, eat and dance. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. I recommend this place 100%!

Our stay at Villa Tranquila was incredible! Our group of 20 (ages 3 to 34) traveled all the way down from Alaska for 10 days. During our stay, my husband and I celebrated 15 yeas of marriage and had a vow renewal ceremony and reception right on the property. It was the perfect location for our intimate celebration, but could have easily accommodated a much larger event! Eugene, Sary, Elsa, and Alberto were marvelous at making sure our trip went seamless. Prior to arrival, Elsa made sure everything from airport pick-up/drop-off, day excursions, wedding coordinating, activities, etc. were lined up and taken care of, all through correspondence via e-mails and phone conversations. She is a rock star! Upon our very late evening arrival, Eugene and Sary greeted us with prepared appetizers knowing that we'd be hungry from our travels, wow! They gave us the run down of the house and made sure we were aware that they were available at anytime to address any questions or wants/needs throughout our stay which was incomparable to any experience we've ever had in customer service. They provided valuable insights to local attractions, activities, and etiquette. They were amazing! Alberto, the chef is an absolute gem and prepared the most delicious meals. He was personable, gracious, and hands down one of the hardest working people I have ever met! One of our kids loves to cook and he was so kind and patient as he let them help. It was one of many highlights of our trip! Thank you all so much for your hospitality and five star service. We will be talking about this trip for years to come and are already planning our next visit!

Great Villa! If you want private security come and visit this area has everything you need five minutes away if you wanna go hang out with a crowd very peaceful vacation. We had a great time here!

We couldn't of been any happier with our stay, the house staff made our vacation wonderful, everything we needed was made possible by them, our food was great and ready on time, any questions we had Eugene and his wife resolved for us which made things much easier, we will definitely stay here again. The concierge, Elsa and Mariam, were excellent as well!

The house is amazing and lends itself to big groups, no fighting over rooms, all rooms are either two queens or two kings. Great pool and great location. This house is not inside any of the smaller communities in Pinilla which makes access very convenient.

The Villa itself met all our expectations Luxurious accommodations with attention to detail It easily accommodated our group of 24 and was big enough you could still have your own private enclave. Bedrooms are huge with large sitting rooms. The private balconies were perfect for morning coffee. The salt water pool was the social hub for our group and is both adult and kid friendly. The location is about 15 minutes from Tamarindo and having a car is handy. However with access to two beautiful beaches and the beach club inside the gated 4000 acres you really don't need to go to town. Where the Villa really sets the bar high is the service. Our cooks and cleaners worked hard and were fun to be around. Excellent meals during the whole 10 day stay. Eugene & Sary were the point people for the Villa and were super diligent in taking excellent care of us. From birthday cakes to transportation they were always on top of things. The entire stay was a pleasure from start to finish. I highly recommend Villa Tranquila.
