January 2023 Our family (6 adults and 4 children ages 1-11) vacation in Playa Grande at Villa Brisa del Mar was amazing! You have to experience this vacation home and setting to fully appreciate the comforts and the beauty of this spectacular villa. Each family had their own private suite with our oldest grandson having his own space to kick back and chill as a preteen. From the spacious outdoor living area and pool to the well stocked kitchen we just relaxed and enjoyed. The beach, Playa Ventanas, will take your breath away as you walk down the path from the arbored pool gate. The views on the beach, morning, noon and night were magical. You can walk/run, explore and swim on this beautiful beach. We went shelling, observed tiny sea creatures, saw turtle tracks, swam, boogie boarded and played in the sand. It never got old! Carlos, the caretaker of the property, was so kind and helped us in every way. He was so attentive to all the details of making our stay at Villa Brisa del Mar so enjoyable. One evening the entire family went down to the beach to watch the sunset and I stayed with the 4 year old by the pool. Carlos, walked out the gate and came back a few minutes later with pictures on his phone of the sunset for me to enjoy. I was so touched by his kindness. He is the best! Diego, was so helpful at organizing all our excursions and transportation needs to and from the airport, renting 2 cars that were delivered to the villa (Toyota Car Rental), arranging our tours and suggesting fabulous restaurants to enjoy. We had food delivered to the villa, so we were stocked the first day (Pangas Market). We had a carseat and booster seat delivered for use throughout the week (Ryan at Tico and Friends). Diego facilitated it all. Our family experienced the beauty of Costa Rica for 9 days with an all day rainforest tour, a horseback riding excursion on a working hacienda, a catamaran sailing tour along the coast, an estuary boat tour in the Las Baulas Estuary, renting wave runners in Brasilito and having the freedom to explore the beaches and towns along the coast with our Toyota Fortuners. Just to let you know how much we enjoyed are stay… 2 days before leaving wanted to extend our stay an extra few days. I messaged Diego to ask him our options. In less than 30 minutes everything was arranged to extend our stay! It was magical, we could have stayed even longer! Thank you Diego, Carlos, Tico and Friends, our drivers, and Stay in Tamarindo staff for such a fantastic vacation experience. We will be back! Pura Vida…it's a way of life!

We stayed here with our 4 adult children and 2 of their spouses. Each of them had their own beautiful suite. Our Casita was amazing, with a bedroom and living room facing the beautiful ocean. The view is incredible! Most days we swam in the ocean, walked on the beach, or lounged by the pool. The lovely outdoor space is spacious and we had family dinners at the huge outdoor dining table. There is plenty of outdoor furniture where we could sit and talk and listen to the ocean. At night we gathered in our living room and watched movies or played games. You can walk to Rip Jacks or Taco Star for lunch or dinner. We also rented a surfboard at Frijoles Locos and my son surfed at Playa Grande which is in walking distance. While in Costa Rica, there are a lot of activities to choose from but I would highly recommend the adventure hike to Leona Falls(2 hours a way). We had to swim through rivers, jump off a cliff and use ropes to pull ourselves through the water to find a hidden waterfall. Carlos the caretaker was so helpful and kind. We borrowed items that we forgot at the grocery store, he helped my son when he got locked out of the house, and he opened the gates for us when we left and came back into the property. He even changed a tire for us! My whole family loved him.

Our stay in Costa Rica was amazing. We came to celebrate my 30th birthday and we were not disappointed. Our concierge Diego was a great help he made it super easy to help me find excursions and set up transportation for us. The house was stunning, beautiful views of the ocean and your own private beach, our caretaker Carlos was there for everything we needed. The house was kept tidy by a friendly housekeeper and at night we had a security guard. Our shuttle bus drivers Alberto and Eddie were amazing they helped bring us around the town and seemed to know everything about their beautiful country. Would def recommend booking this property for all the amenities it has to offer. Villa Brisa and the staff with not disappoint!

Not only was this house off the beaten path, it was beautiful and the beach was stunning. If you want to be away from all of the tourists, this is your place. We spent most of our time in the outdoor living and on the beach. Playa Carbon was also within walking distance and worth the visit. There are lots of great places to eat in the area, but the concierge is wonderful and will help you book a chef for the house, rental cars, excursions, etc. I would go back to Costa Rica in a heart beat and I would book this house over and over again!

Beautiful well kept home on the beach. Bedding was white & welcoming We arrived near midnite due to travel delays yet the on-site caretaker, Carlos, was waiting for us & assisted with our entry. He was a wonderful Person & enhanced our stay Pool was cleaned each morning Stay in Tamarindo the rental agency was extremely responsive, organized & efficient

This villa is beautiful and has plenty of space for a large group or family. The master suite is to die for! We enjoyed the peaceful outdoor living space and playing in the waves. (The local surf shop, Frijoles Locos, delivered surf and boogie boards.) One of the highlights of our stay was walking along the beach to the Ripjack Inn in Playa Grande for drinks and dinner! Both the concierge, Diego, and the caretaker, Carlos were attentive to our needs and promptly addressed any issues. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation spot, with the ability to arrange activities/day trips if desired, this house is it!

We recently returned from our 4 night stay at Villa Brisa Del Mar. It was absolutely amazing. The pictures provided just can't capture the beauty of the accommodations. The outside space is so peaceful and stunningly arranged. The master suite is incredible. The sunsets are incredible. The location is perfect. There are several restaurants close to the property that serve wonderful food in various settings. All in all, Brisa Del Mar far exceeded my expectations.

Pure Paradise! The house was gorgeous! Just steps from the beach. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everyone was so wonderful to help us have the perfect family vacation.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful home and the amazing people who help run it. The house was everything pictured and more. Carlos was the best!! We love him!! Diego also was amazing!! This house is really wonderful. Our concierge Diego helped us with many things before arrival: booking private surfing lessons, yoga at the house, and massages. Everything he booked exceeded our expectations, and his client service is top-notch. The house itself is also wonderful. Carlos the caretaker is very kind and helpful. You really can't beat the location and view of this house - perfectly positioned on the beach with everything you could possibly want. I would absolutely return to this beautiful house to enjoy paradise with my family.

This house is one in a million!! It is so beautiful, even more beautiful than advertised! The open air porches connecting the spaces were some of our favorite places to hand out and relax. The views from the living room and master bedroom are gorgeous!!! The setting on the very end of the secluded beach was incredible. We felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves every day we were there. This is the prefect setting for time with family in a dreamy setting! We were so blown away by everything. The house staff provided amazing hospitality and provided everything we needed while there. We felt completely at ease. Diego booked us a wonderful tour enjoying the things CR has to offer. We finished the trip with a beautiful evening on the porch while the private chef prepared the yellowfin tuna we caught the previous day. We loved this experience and hope to return many more times!

My extended family had a wonderful vacay here. Unfortunately my immediate family contracted COVID one day prior to our departure and were not able to join. However, Cris, with concierge made the transition seamless. We heard that the house was perfect, the beach flawless and the pool a perfect place to cool off. We can't wait to visit again! Pura Vida

This house and it's location was a little slice of Heaven!!!The house was clean and just as nice as the pictures. All of the staff was kind, helpful and more than happy to help us with all of our needs. Easily one of the best vacations of my life. I can't wait to return!!!

We had an amazing time at this property! The property is clean and kept immaculate. Carlos and Jorge who watch the property are just fabulous. Cristina and Adriana are also wonderful with helping us all get set up prior to visit as well as assisting us with booking a private chef and spa getaway. The outdoor seating is just perfect! The view from the master is spectacular. Love also how each room has a bathroom.

If you're looking for the perfect balance of indoor/ outdoor living then look no further. The space was perfect for us, we were a group of 7. But this place could easily accommodate much more. The view from the master bedroom window of the ocean was picture perfect. The beach is obviously why anyone would book this place and you wouldn't be disappointed as it's right outside your back door literally. Its the closest to having a private beach as you're probably going to get in Costa Rica as there was next to no one on the beach. We just brought out the deck chairs that came with the property and sat back and enjoyed our evenings and mornings on the sand while the kids play. Overall our stay was just what we needed to end our time in Costa Rica. They even provided us with fresh fruits and snacks. The staff on site (which wasn't in our space) also was great as they were there to help if we ever needed it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Please please please don't pass this place up. Not only was the place absolutely gorgeous, the staff made everything super easy for me!!! Cris the concierge arranged all our group excursions and transportation for us. We did zip lining, horseback riding, rode ATV's, hiked to waterfalls, tubes down the river, had a catamaran ride….sooooo much!! Chef Adriana came and cooked a couple meals for us, recommended a band to come play at the house, and even recommended a hidden black sand beach for us to walk to from the house. Carlos was the property maintenance…he was like a ninja. Everything we needed he was all of a sudden there with it. Eddie, the driver , he was THE BEST!!!!!!! He even came on a whole 3 hour hike with us just because the guide didn't know English. Everyone was amazing!!! And it's because of them that this was the best vacation experience thus far. Thank you!!!

Unique beachfront location at the end of Playa Ventanas. Very comfortable house with large upstairs apartment that has amazing views. Carlos who looks after the house is great!
